Full Tilt Multi Entry Tournaments
Full Tilt Multi Entry Tournaments
Full Tilt Poker offers a unique tournament style called a "Multi-Entry Tournament". This gives players multiple chances to win big at Full Tilt Poker's tables.
How exactly does it work, then? Full Tilt Poker allows players to register at multiple tables in the same tournament, which means that the player has a second chance if they are eliminated early on in the game.
Basically, each player's entry in this sort of tournament is attributed its own chip stack and hand. Since players can register multiple entries at the same time, this gives them a greater chance to pass on to higher levels of the tournament.
Mutli-Entry Tournamets are available in many types of tournament formats and rulesets. Knockout, Rebuy, and Rush Poker are among these special game types. The only difference between normal poker tournaments on Full Tilt and Multi-Entry is that regular tournaments usually only allow for one entry per player, but this is not the case in a Multy-Entry Tournament.
Finding a Multi-Entry Tournament on the site is as simple as looking for the red indicator. This icon is left of the game type name and right of the date. Multi-Entry games will be identified by a small, red icon with three horizontal lines and one vertical line.
Browse through the list of tournaments. Make sure it's the game style or ruleset that you want to play. Finalize your decision by clicking the register button towards the bottom right of the page. At this point, the site will prompt you on how many entries you want to put in for the game. At this point, you will arrive at a "Tournament Buy In" page where you select the number of tournament entries. The interface shows how much each entry will cost into the specific tournament. Click the accept payment button after you choose between real money or tournament dollars options.
At any time during the game, a user simply needs to click on the "Tourney Info" button to open up the tournament status interface. This allows a user to check the status of all of their entries at each respective table. It shows the average stack sizes, along with the largest and smallest stack sizes. It also informs the player what their current positions in the tournament are, and how long it will be until the next break or round.
Players can also access this information and more advanced statistics by clicking on the "Show Entrants" dialogue box above the player list in the game interface. This displays all of the entries for the tournament and the associated information for each entry.
Since two entries can't play at one time in the same table, the player's entries will merge if they have more entries than tables available as the tournament progresses on. The user's avatar will then flash a bright blue as two of their entries merge together into one, combining the chips and stacks of both entries. This gives you a decent boost, so paying for multiple entries in a large game can actually get the player out of a bind later on.
